ACPI fixes for v4.10-rc6
- Revert a recent change that added an ACPI video blacklist entry for HP Pavilion dv6 as it turned to introduce backlight handling regressions on some systems (Hans de Goede). - Fix locking in the ACPICA core to avoid deadlocks related to table loading that were exposed by a recent change in that area (Lv Zheng). -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAABCAAGBQJYiopPAAoJEILEb/54YlRx+dUP/1IfhOGZ5DqxEsMk1ZhGqDGU GvLDjQ4bs0YDFfpG6rQfQUGqYOVrdlS4T4GiGUWrdwnYf443YamQt1qdxytEKf82 UAnaYYGw93jUdCZ9DN96IJgbjhm5U6JDTYkIReAH0M2GKtfUPP0u5EkskaeonjZZ JfHluZbSIyUqLTi55r8jdUOUqWqyD8lxJ/m+QJxBH+6qox2m1o+WBk+gw5P8kKkW jEAzhDsGRi+PHrGFevTviFwSWnFaUexn4eIqhvCZOKC9r2FW9UoKJAhE4WykdIGe Mb6PCwvaWRHpQ82V6ZBB4ONooc6Av0q1QONDMshkEVel5m+r32/iXxUzt7WnACMf sKn3QVQjGsdmPJy4Ql60hXdQ9mGoJmIFJUm9mrt3IBMVCFDADYh+uvEsaqfGErhD JRO0FeGEtX/rO8zvJYywn8Su3X+wgNjtQadbxyzCHjG3W1qYKgYkZmMWWptMK69Z 9x+9rwR4ZcvdN1ZZ1BuLlxeWhpjX5lN+BkGY3H8Um8fC6N1MdOQo7ykskglNB/BC PQaAl7tAYnmqfOlMpaxZPBfdfgVZceQFUwBOMFk/tylTKswLGP9o0yg1KrksgOYg VOJW3Zp9J2Ens7uqNiCwwIbreZwoD+WSflCd5yUkj/9x/2hAlbCXLcoZi0P6TiUW oIPf5F4miJVTav37Pp3Z =vPdH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'acpi-4.10-rc6' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/rafael/linux-pm Pull ACPI fixes from Rafael Wysocki: "These fix two regressions introduced recently, one by reverting the problematic commit and one by fixing up locking in the ACPICA core. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
