xfrm: Return error on unknown encap_type in init_state
Currently esp will happily create an xfrm state with an unknown encap type for IPv4, without setting the necessary state parameters. This patch fixes it by returning -EINVAL. There is a similar problem in IPv6 where if the mode is unknown we will skip initialisation while returning zero. However, this is harmless as the mode has already been checked further up the stack. This patch removes this anomaly by aligning the IPv6 behaviour with IPv4 and treating unknown modes (which cannot actually happen) as transport mode. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
