694a6f5948 crypto: qat - fix "Full Going True" macro definition
The macro `ADF_RP_INT_SRC_SEL_F_RISE_MASK` is currently set to the value
`0100b` which means "Empty Going False". This might cause an incorrect
restore of the bank state during live migration.

Fix the definition of the macro to properly represent the "Full Going
True" state which is encoded as `0011b`.

8caa061cfd crypto: qat - Use static_assert() to check struct sizes
Commit 140e4c85d5 ("crypto: qat - Avoid -Wflex-array-member-not-at-end
warnings") introduced tagged `struct qat_alg_buf_list_hdr`. We want to
ensure that when new members need to be added to the flexible structure,
they are always included within this tagged struct.

So, we use `static_assert()` to ensure that the memory layout for
both the flexible structure and the tagged struct is the same after
any changes.

e0d3b845a1 crypto: iaa - Fix potential use after free bug
The free_device_compression_mode(iaa_device, device_mode) function frees
"device_mode" but it iss passed to iaa_compression_modes[i]->free() a few
lines later resulting in a use after free.

The good news is that, so far as I can tell, nothing implements the
->free() function and the use after free happens in dead code. But, with
this fix, when something does implement it, we'll be ready. :)

ca88a2bdd4 crypto: qat - allow disabling SR-IOV VFs
The QAT driver allows enabling SR-IOV VFs but does not allow them to be
disabled through a write to sysfs.
Disabling SR-IOV VFs can be only achieved by bringing down and up a
device using the attribute /sys/bus/pci/devices/<BDF>/qat/state.

The documentation for the sysfs attribute `sriov_numvfs` specifies
that "a userspace application wanting to disable the VFs would write a
zero to this file".

Add support for disabling SR-IOV VFs by writing '0' to the
'sriov_numvfs' attribute in sysfs.

Enabling or disabling SR-IOV always requires adf_dev_down() to be
called. This action subsequently leads to the deletion of the
ADF_KERNEL_SEC configuration section. The keys ADF_NUM_CY and ADF_NUM_DC
within that section must be set to '0', otherwise, the driver will
register into the Linux Crypto Framework. Because of this, the
configuration in the ADF_KERNEL_SEC section must be added before every
sriov_enable.

cd8d2d7429 crypto: qat - ensure correct order in VF restarting handler
In the process of sending the ADF_PF2VF_MSGTYPE_RESTARTING message to
Virtual Functions (VFs), the Physical Function (PF) should set the
`vf->restarting` flag to true before dispatching the message.
This change is necessary to prevent a race condition where the handling
of the ADF_VF2PF_MSGTYPE_RESTARTING_COMPLETE message (which sets the
`vf->restarting` flag to false) runs immediately after the message is sent,
but before the flag is set to true.

Set the `vf->restarting` to true before sending the message
ADF_PF2VF_MSGTYPE_RESTARTING, if supported by the version of the
protocol and if the VF is started.

updated without supporting the message RESTARTING_COMPLETE required for

4e190a5740 crypto: qat - preserve ADF_GENERAL_SEC
The ADF_GENERAL_SEC configuration section contains values that must be
preserved during state transitions (down -> up, up -> down).
This patch modifies the logic in adf_dev_shutdown() to maintain all
key values within this section, rather than selectively saving and
restoring only the ADF_SERVICES_ENABLED attribute.

To achieve this, a new function has been introduced that deletes all
configuration sections except for the one specified by name.
This function is invoked during adf_dev_down(), with ADF_GENERAL_SEC
as the argument. Consequently, the adf_dev_shutdown_cache_cfg() function
has been removed as it is now redundant.

Additionally, this patch eliminates the cache_config parameter from
the adf_dev_down() function since ADF_GENERAL_SEC should always be
retained. This change does not cause any side effects because all
entries in the key-value store are cleared when a module is unloaded.

f0622894c5 crypto: qat - fix unintentional re-enabling of error interrupts
The logic that detects pending VF2PF interrupts unintentionally clears
the section of the error mask register(s) not related to VF2PF.
This might cause interrupts unrelated to VF2PF, reported through

Fix by updating only section of errmsk3 and errmsk5 related to VF2PF.

Fix this by making the caller use cancel_work_sync and then freeing

b1992c3772 kbuild: use $(src) instead of $(srctree)/$(src) for source directory
Kbuild conventionally uses $(obj)/ for generated files, and $(src)/ for
checked-in source files. It is merely a convention without any functional
difference. In fact, $(obj) and $(src) are exactly the same, as defined
in scripts/Makefile.build:

    src := $(obj)

When the kernel is built in a separate output directory, $(src) does
not accurately reflect the source directory location. While Kbuild
resolves this discrepancy by specifying VPATH=$(srctree) to search for
source files, it does not cover all cases. For example, when adding a
header search path for local headers, -I$(srctree)/$(src) is typically
passed to the compiler.

This introduces inconsistency between upstream and downstream Makefiles
because $(src) is used instead of $(srctree)/$(src) for the latter.

To address this inconsistency, this commit changes the semantics of
$(src) so that it always points to the directory in the source tree.

Going forward, the variables used in Makefiles will have the following
meanings:

$(obj) - directory in the object tree
$(src) - directory in the source tree (changed by this commit)
$(objtree) - the top of the kernel object tree
$(srctree) - the top of the kernel source tree

Consequently, $(srctree)/$(src) in upstream Makefiles need to be replaced
with $(src).

483fd65ce2 crypto: qat - validate slices count returned by FW
The function adf_send_admin_tl_start() enables the telemetry (TL)
feature on a QAT device by sending the ICP_QAT_FW_TL_START message to
the firmware. This triggers the FW to start writing TL data to a DMA
buffer in memory and returns an array containing the number of
accelerators of each type (slices) supported by this HW.
The pointer to this array is stored in the adf_tl_hw_data data
structure called slice_cnt.

The array slice_cnt is then used in the function tl_print_dev_data()
to report in debugfs only statistics about the supported accelerators.
An incorrect value of the elements in slice_cnt might lead to an out
of bounds memory read.
At the moment, there isn't an implementation of FW that returns a wrong
value, but for robustness validate the slice count array returned by FW.

f0bbfc391a crypto: qat - implement interface for live migration
Add logic to implement the interface for live migration defined in
qat/qat_mig_dev.h. This is specific for QAT GEN4 Virtual Functions
(VFs).

This introduces a migration data manager which is used to handle the
device state during migration. The manager ensures that the device state
is stored in a format that can be restored in the destination node.

The VF state is organized into a hierarchical structure that includes a
preamble, a general state section, a MISC bar section and an ETR bar
section. The latter contains the state of the 4 ring pairs contained on
a VF. Here is a graphical representation of the state:

preamble | general state section | leaf state
             | MISC bar state section| leaf state
             | ETR bar state section | bank0 state section | leaf state
                                     | bank1 state section | leaf state
                                     | bank2 state section | leaf state

3fa1057e35 crypto: qat - expand CSR operations for QAT GEN4 devices
Extend the CSR operations for QAT GEN4 devices to allow saving and
restoring the rings state.

The new operations will be used as a building block for implementing the
state save and restore of Virtual Functions necessary for VM live
migration.

This adds the following operations:
 - read ring status register
 - read ring underflow/overflow status register
 - read ring nearly empty status register
 - read ring nearly full status register
 - read ring full status register
 - read ring complete status register
 - read ring exception status register
 - read/write ring exception interrupt mask register
 - read ring configuration register
 - read ring base register
 - read/write ring interrupt enable register
 - read ring interrupt flag register
 - read/write ring interrupt source select register
 - read ring coalesced interrupt enable register
 - read ring coalesced interrupt control register
 - read ring flag and coalesced interrupt enable register
 - read ring service arbiter enable register
 - get ring coalesced interrupt control enable mask

As the common hw_data files are growing and the adf_hw_csr_ops is going

Move and rename ADF_4XXX_PF2VM_OFFSET and ADF_4XXX_VM2PF_OFFSET to
ADF_GEN4_PF2VM_OFFSET and ADF_GEN4_VM2PF_OFFSET respectively.
These definitions are moved from adf_gen4_pfvf.c to adf_gen4_hw_data.h
as they are specific to GEN4 and not just to qat_4xxx.

This change is made in anticipation of their use in live migration.

This does not introduce any functional change.

If nr_cpus < nr_iaa, the calculated cpus_per_iaa will be 0, which
causes a divide-by-0 in rebalance_wq_table().

Make sure cpus_per_iaa is 1 in that case, and also in the nr_iaa == 0
case, even though cpus_per_iaa is never used if nr_iaa == 0, for
paranoia.

cdb083e73d crypto: iaa - Fix comp/decomp delay statistics
The comp/decomp delay statistics currently have no callers; somehow
they were dropped during refactoring. There originally were also two
sets, one for the async algorithm, the other for the synchronous
version. Because the synchronous algorithm was dropped, one set should
be removed. To keep it consistent with the rest of the stats, and
since there's no ambiguity, remove the acomp/adecomp versions. Also
add back the callers.
