Fixes boot failures on 6.9 on PPC_BOOK3S_32 machines using Open Firmware. On these machines, the kernel refuses to boot from non-zero PHYSICAL_START, which occurs when CRASH_DUMP is on. Since most PPC_BOOK3S_32 machines boot via Open Firmware, it should default to off for them. Users booting via some other mechanism can still turn it on explicitly. Does not change the default on any other architectures for the time being. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
