Code cleanup for better understanding: Variable needs_unlock to be called extent_locked to show state as opposed to action. Changed the type to int, to reduce code in the critical path. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``.
