The terminator for the mode 1 syscalls list was a 0, but that could be a valid syscall number (e.g. x86_64 __NR_read). By luck, __NR_read was listed first and the loop construct would not test it, so there was no bug. However, this is fragile. Replace the terminator with -1 instead, and make the variable name for mode 1 syscall lists more descriptive. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
