The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().
Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

This fix involves 2 changes:
- All event regs have a reset value of 0, which is not a valid
event_number as per the event_list for most blocks and hence seen
as an error. Add a "disable" event with event_number 0 for all blocks.
- The enable bit for each counter need not be checked before
reading the event info, and hence removed.

This commit fixes tmfifo console stuck issue when the virtual
networking interface is in down state. In such case, the network
Rx descriptors runs out and causes the Rx network packet staying
in the head of the tmfifo thus blocking the console packets. The
fix is to drop the Rx network packet when no more Rx descriptors.
Function name mlxbf_tmfifo_release_pending_pkt() is also renamed
to mlxbf_tmfifo_release_pkt() to be more approperiate.

The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

This commit adds sysfs interface to be used to write into the
boot log which is 1KB HW buffer on BlueField SoC. The same log
buffer is also used by firmware code like ATF/UEFI, and can be
displayed by userspace tools or from external host via USB/PCIe.

REGMAP is a hidden (not user visible) symbol. Users cannot set it
directly thru "make *config", so drivers should select it instead of
depending on it if they need it.
Consistently using "select" or "depends on" can also help reduce
Kconfig circular dependency issues.
Therefore, change the use of "depends on REGMAP" to "select REGMAP".
For NVSW_SN2201, select REGMAP_I2C instead of depending on it.

Currently hotplug configuration in logic device assumes that all items
are provided with no holes.
Thus, any group of hotplug events, associated with the specific
status/event/mask registers is configured in those registers
successively from bit zero to bit #n (#n < 8).
This logic is changed int order to allow non-successive definition to
support configuration with the skipped bits – for example bits 3, 5, 7
in status/event/mask registers can be associated with hotplug events,
while others can be skipped.

Fix locking issues:
- mlxreg_lc_state_update() takes a lock when set or clear
"MLXREG_LC_POWERED".
- All the devices can be deleted before MLXREG_LC_POWERED flag is cleared.
To fix it:
- Add lock() / unlock() at the beginning / end of
mlxreg_lc_event_handler() and remove locking from
mlxreg_lc_power_on_off() and mlxreg_lc_enable_disable()
- Add locked version of mlxreg_lc_state_update() -

This reverts commit a10fba0377: the
proposed API isn't supported on all transports but no
effort was made to address this.
It might not be hard to fix if we want to: maybe just
rename size to size_hint and make sure legacy
transports ignore the hint.
But it's not sure what the benefit is in any case, so
let's drop it.

find_vqs() adds a new parameter sizes to specify the size of each vq
vring.
NULL as sizes means that all queues in find_vqs() use the maximum size.
A value in the array is 0, which means that the corresponding queue uses
the maximum size.
In the split scenario, the meaning of size is the largest size, because
it may be limited by memory, the virtio core will try a smaller size.
And the size is power of 2.

- Clean-up client object in case of probing failure.
- Prevent running remove routine in case of probing failure.
Probing and removing are invoked by hotplug events raised upon line
card insertion and removing. If probing procedure failed all data is
